European Heritage Days

The project titled “Reawakening Spaces: Heritage Conservation and Photographic Narratives” will be held for the first time in Mudurnu, Turkey, from September 1-13 organized by European Heritage Volunteers and Terra Mudurnu, with the cooperation of the Mudurnu District Governorate, Mudurnu Municipality, Valencia Polytechnic University and Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University – Sureyya Astarcı Mudurnu Vocational School, and with the support of Europa Nostra Turkey.

The two-week program will include fieldwork, provincial and district tours, and numerous presentations and discussions on cultural heritage and conservation issues in Turkey, as well as the values of Mudurnu. Furthermore, on September 12, 2025, the final day of the project program, European Heritage Days will be held with the participation of project partners, local authorities, universities, and the public.
